~ Daily Meds~

The theme for this week, and the 2nd principle of harmony is ~No Extras~. 

Just breathe, no extras.

Relax, no extras.

You’re good, no extras.

Be happy, no extras.

 

~ The Daily ~

Mantra: Just breathe, no extras.

Pranayama: Mindful breathing.  That’s it, no extras.

Meditation: Sit and smile.  Simple postures, advanced awareness.

 

 Blue Sun Yoga Teacher Training Practice Suggestions: 


Asana:  Continue to practice mini-vinyasas.  Come up with a few on your own – keep it simple!  Remember, the idea is to give your students a few poses that you guide them through, then let them breath with it on their own pace.  Simplicity is better as it is easier to remember.

Yama: Asteya : Non-stealing, generousity, not taking more than we need.  No extras.  

Sutra: find the sutras on the 8-limbs in Naschala's book, Satchidananda's and any other materials you may have.  Read and reflect on their interpretations of the Yamas.

Simple postures, advanced awareness.  Complex things are easy to achieve, simplicity is the real challenge.  Let’s practice!!
